LEADERSHIP
FOUNDER & CEO
Sawsan Dahham, founded SIENA on nearly two-decades of hands-on experience in Fire and Life Safety, Engineering Consultancy and Business Management. Her leadership is defined by her passion to the Industry, technical expertise and a strong belief in sharing knowledge to advance collective progress and contribute in raising awareness.
Proficient in international and local fire codes and standards, Sawsan managed a diverse range of mega projects across the MENA region and Africa, collaborated in codes and educational courses development. As the first Arab Woman Authorized NFPA Instructor since 2017, she delivers trainings to private and public Institutions. She also wrote several technical publications, participated in numerous global conferences addressing Industry developments, innovations and challenges, and was featured by NFPA as a keynote speaker during 2025 conference and Expo. In addition, she serves on awards juries and advisory boards.

A materials Engineer with 16 years of experience in materials testing and quality control. Maher actively manages specifications from concept to tender, coordinating with designers and contractors, reviewing material submittals related to fire performance, and overseeing the implementation of passive fire safety requirements for all types of projects.

Senior Fire Protection Consultant –
Firefighting Team Coordinator
A mechanical Engineer with 12 years of experience in FF systems, BIM coordination, and mechanical design. Racha leads mechanical works for major projects across the Middle East and Africa, designing complex FF systems and delivering high quality projects with strengths in scheduling, quality control, and system optimization.
Mansour El Chemaly
Senior Fire Life Safety Consultant –
Life Safety Team Coordinator
An Architect who specializes in FLS since 2017. Mansour integrates FLS into designs while ensuring compliance and aesthetics. He has worked on major MENA and Africa projects, conducting assessments, design reviews, and BIM modeling. His expertise covers both international and local regional codes.

An architect with 17 years of experience in building acoustics, he has led the design and implementation of acoustic solutions, ensuring optimal sound performance and compliance with standards. Sarjoun works closely with architects and engineers to integrate acoustic comfort, noise control, and sound insulation into overall building design.
Shereen Khalifeh
Senior Doors and Hardware Consultant
An Interior Architect with 12 years of experience in hardware specifications, door schedules, and code compliance with American and European standards for major projects across MENA. Shereen’s professional coordination skills and technical expertise ensure safe, functional, and integrated door systems for all types of projects.

Our Name
SIENA refers to the “burnt shade of red”, meaning “orange-red”, which is also attributed to the color of fire. The letter “S” is one of the most powerful letters in the English alphabet, it is strongly associated with influence, honor and resilience; core values we proudly embody at SIENA in every engagement.
Our Logo
The combination of the Dynamic “S”, at the heart of our identity, symbolizes the 3 committed fields of activity; reliable strategies, tailored solutions and consistent safety. The linear gradient effect incorporated in the logo evokes the dynamic and vibrant nature of flames with graceful flowing letter-forms.
